Recipients are honoured each fall at our Annual General Meeting.  For 2026\, we’re enhancing our awards to offer even greater value. The Citizen of the Year will receive a certificate\, a one-year Individual Chamber membership\, and a gift card. Business of the Year award recipients will receive a certificate\, gift card\, and if they are a current Chamber member\, they will receive their 2027 membership for free. If they are not yet Chamber members\, they will receive a 2027 membership at 50% off. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Citizen of the Year Criteria \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Community InvolvementActive participation in community service\, volunteer work\, or charitable activities.Leadership in local projects that benefit the community (e.g.\, organizing events\, improving local facilities\, or helping vulnerable populations).
