The Pas OCN Chamber of Commerce

Who We Are & What We Do

The Pas OCN Chamber of Commerce brings together businesses across The Town of The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, and the Rural Municipality of Kelsey — working as one to grow a stronger, more connected regional economy.

Mission & Vision

Everything the Chamber does flows from two commitments — our reason for being, and the future we’re working toward together.

Our Mission

To educate and develop the economic, civic, cultural, and social welfare of the citizens of The Town of The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, and the Rural Municipality of Kelsey.

Our Vision

To be a leading force in fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and prosperous regional economy through strong business advocacy, collaboration, and community engagement.

Treaty 5 Territory

We acknowledge, respect and have the honour of working on lands in Treaty 5 Territory, a treaty that was first negotiated and entered into in 1875. Treaty 5 Territory is the traditional and ancestral lands for many Indigenous peoples, including the Cree and Métis. In a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration, we all work as one.

Our Pillars of Support

The Pas OCN Chamber of Commerce is guided by seven foundational pillars that shape everything we do. These pillars represent our ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses, strengthening our communities, and driving sustainable economic growth. Whether you’re seeking more visibility, meaningful connections, or ways to contribute to a stronger region, these core values reflect how we serve our members and our community every day.

Each pillar is more than a principle — it’s an active area of work. Through advocacy, events, partnerships, and programs, we bring these pillars to life to ensure our members have the tools, support, and voice they need to thrive.

Meet Your Board

The Chamber is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing all three communities — The Pas, OCN, and the RM of Kelsey — along with appointed representatives from The Pas CDC, PBDC, and the Manitoba Métis Federation. The board sets direction, approves policy, and champions the Chamber’s mission across the region. Directors serve in a governance capacity, reflecting the full diversity of our tri-community membership.
